Parent Training
We are here to help!
Do you have questions on how to better support your child during behavioral outbursts? Would you like to learn how to avoid "giving in" when your child is having a tantrum? Do you have questions on developmental or academic milestones, or questions on why your child is engaging in certain behaviors?
These are all questions that can be answered during Parent Training. Angelic Steps Therapy is glad to support all of our parents by equipping them with the skills needed to de-escalate behavioral episodes, decrease the frequency of undesirable behaviors, as well as increase desirable behavior.
As glad as we are to support our kiddos in-home and in-school, our goal is to provide families with all the tools needed in preparation of fading services.
If ever you have any questions, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst is always available to provide support along the way!
GETTING STARTED

Did you know that Florida has an Autism Mandate requiring major insurance companies to cover the costs of ABA Services? If your child has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, research shows that Applied Behavior Analysis is the only evidence-based intervention for Autism. Research also shows that early intervention is key.

Angelic Steps Therapy is an In-Network Provider for most major insurance companies and also accepts Medicaid. Angelic Steps Therapy believes that all individuals should receive extraordinary quality of care.

If you suspect that your loved one may be at risk for Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or ADHD, early ABA intervention is proven effective in managing characteristics of related diagnosis.

When Will Services Begin?

After initial contact has been made, a member of our team will schedule an in-person appointment. During this time, the needs of the family will be discussed and a course of action will be created.

HIPAA and Confidentiality will be discussed during this time.

Once the family has joined Angelic Steps Therapy, an assessment will be conducted by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. This will be submitted to the insurance company for approval, along with the number of hours requested.

Once approved, Angelic Steps Therapy will begin providing services using a team approach. Each family will have 1-2 therapists, along with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst that will provide ongoing supervision. When necessary, services can be provided in the school.

In addition to ongoing supervision and provision of ABA services, monthly meetings will be held with the families in order to discuss treatment plans and progress.
